Am happy to put out that I will be attending the world famous Film Festival FANTASTIC FEST (September 23-30) in Austin Texas. I will be there to review films for my site Arrow in the Head and cover some mainstream stuff for JoBlo.com. I will also be there as a member of the Jury for the Horror Features category. Am looking forward to it! Thanks to the Fest for making it happen.
Random: Went to buy the RAMBO Blu-ray, saw my flick Deaden in good company. Had to take a pic!
Last Friday I attended the Otakuthon Anime Convention here in Montreal in full BLACK TERROR (my character) get-up to push the webseries HEROES OF THE NORTH. To say our heavy artillery and scary costumes motley crew didn’t fit within an Anime Convention filled with Fairies and Pikachues would be an understatement but hey it kind of worked in our favor. We stood out, and our booth was crowded pretty much all the time. Personally, it killed me that girls of all ages were scared shitless of me. They’d see me and run the other way. LOL! They had to get me away from the booth after a while because people were terrified of approaching it and I was making us lose dough.
Some of my highlights would be: Arguing with “good cop/bad cop” security guards over my prop guns, they wanted them out; it didn’t fly, guns were part of my costume…they stayed… RELAX A-HOLES! RELAX! Funny how when some people are put in a position of power; it goes straight to their heads quicker than I can spell fuck and you…next thing you know they become Dirty Harry. Made me laugh. I also enjoyed taking pictures with varied Con attendees, checking out all the costumed female ass walking about (damn) but the top moments for me was taking pics with little kids (like 8 years old and shit); the smile on their faces and the sparkle in their eyes made my day. I loved how they weren’t frightened of me, like at all, but grown women were…damn hilarious! Overall, this was a fun experience, not one I’d do every day, but now and again; its all good!
NOTE: Man them BLACK TERROR syringe pens sold like hot cakes…it was nuts!
Old Number 7 is about: Roy (John Fallon), a no nonsense kind of guy, arrives from the United States in Barcelona on a mission of retribution. He’s there to confront his wife, Mariona (Saida Lamas), who aborted their baby without his consent, and to clear the air with his brother Gonzalo (Sergio Bernal) who has since began an intimate relationship with his wife. Unbeknownst to all of them though, there is a ruthless killer at large and powerful supernatural forces looming around them.
OLD NUMBER 7 stars Saida Lamas, Sergio Bernal and myself. It was written by Gonzalo Lopez and I. It was produced by Sweet Water Pictures, Aved Productions and my company Fallon Productions. See the TRAILER here. Dates and time when I get them!

But the MEET THE HEROES CAST EVENT will also take place on Saturday, August 14, 2010 10:30 am – 7:00 pm and on Sunday, August 15, 2010 10:30 am – 5:00 pm Visit the CONVENTION SITE HERE.
There’s an old saying: “You’re never a prophet in your home town”. And with time I learned that its true… well… in my case anyways. I mean I created and operate one of the top horror websites in the world, its been running for 10 fucking years. I have written and acted in films that have gotten worldwide distribution; low budget and big budget. As any of the local Montreal newspaper ever take notice? Maybe once or twice…but not really… the rest of the world on the other hand? Yes on varied levels. So yeah it was nice to see Heroes of the North, a web-series I act in, get some love in The Journal de Montreal. See the blurb above. HEROES OF THE NORTH was created by Anderson Bradshaw and Christian Viel. It stars Larry Vinette, Edith Labelle, Anderson Bradshaw, Vanessa Blouin and the sexy Bianca Beauchamp. The short film I did with Gonzalo Lopez OLD NUMBER 7(see trailer here) seems to be on fire. It just screened at the Filmets – Festival Internacional de Badalona and now it just got accepted at the Malta International Film Festival. And what makes it even more exciting for me, FINALLY, it will be the Fallon approved FINAL CUT that is screened. Due to bad luck and mis-communications, only the first cut of OLD NUMBER 7 has be screened so far, so now peeps will be able to see it the way it was intended. There is a Lord! OLD NUMBER 7 stars this jerk, the sexy Saida Lamas and the talented Sergio Bernal. It was written by Gonzalo Lopez and myself. The flick was produced by Sweet Water Pictures, Aved Productions and my company Fallon productions. Dates and time when I get them!
