After spending two years at Montmorency College learning the technical aspects of filmmaking, and another three years perfecting his craft as an actor through John Abbott College’s professional theater program, Canadian-born John Fallon was on his way.
His versatility as an actor has been tested in many divergent roles including a journalist/host for 26 episodes on TV’s “Kaosbar”, a neo-Nazi in a stage play entitled “Edith Stein”, a partygoer on a major “Budweiser” commercial campaign, Bucky the jailbird with an attitude on the popular TV series “Big Wolf on Campus”, a mercenary in the movie “Deadly Scavengers”, a mime in the Katie Holmes film “Abandon”, a rapist in the Sci-Fi movie Recon 2020, a tech-soldier in “Alone in the Dark” with Christian Slater. His most recent appearances were as a cop in "SAW II" and being interviewed in the Halloween 25 Years of Terror documentary. John will next be seen in Dante Tomaselli’s The Ocean as a surfer battling a demonic ocean.
John continued his trend of successful multi-tasking by operating one of the most successful horror movie websites on the Net called “Arrow In The Head” through which he interviewed many entertainment personalities, been flown to sets around the world and attended countless Festivals/Junkets/Conventions. Over eight hundred reviews and millions of site visitors later, John was accepted into the horror community with open arms, by many of its most respected inhabitants and has now become one of the front runners within the horror media industry. Which led him to being part of the Jury at the prestigious Sitges Film Festival in 2006.
After previously penning five spec scripts of his own, John was eventually given his first official writing assignment for a Tele Cine Taurus production entitled “Lone Knight”. He followed that up with co-writing “Night Life” with US writer/director Eric Red (The Hitcher, Blue Steel) while working with Red on various feature films as Creative Executive. John just completed production on a film that he wrote, stars in and is co-producing named “Deaden”, directed by Christian Viel of “Samhain” infamy. The film finally premiered at the 2006 Sitges Film Festival. He also completed his duties on Recon 2022, a film he co-wrote and acts in.
Lastly, John wrote and directed the music video for the hit song “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee and is presently working on Recon 2023 and “Death Row”, two films he’s co writing and starring in while getting his impending directorial debut “The Red Hours” off the ground.
