In anticipation for \u00a0THE SHELTER Cannes Screening on May 16 ( 4:00PM in the GRAY 3 THEATRE)<\/strong> here is an excerpt (from a longer interview which should be on the Blu-Ray when released) of star Michael Par\u00e9 (Thomas) talking about the \u201ctype\u201d of film The Shelter is. Will I be at the screening myself? To be honest, I was on the fence in terms of attending the Festival or not. On one end, I want to be there for my film and would love to see all of my friends from around the world and make new ones as I always do. On the other end, I’m an independent filmmaker; Cannes is mucho pricey and there is still a very long road ahead for The Shelter – one that I have to prep for financially. So I kept going back and forth. Recently, a new film opportunity arose and it made the decision for me.<\/p>\n

The final outcome is: I will not be going to Cannes but I will be working on a new film project shortly one that will enrich me and give me further experience. Sometimes when you can’t make a choice – life does it for you! I said “sometimes”… I’m usually not one for waiting \ud83d\ude42 On that, THE SHELTER screens in 5 days (man that’s soon) on May 16 at 4:00PM at the Gray 3 theatre and is represented by DC MEDIAS.
